Exploring policy trade-offs through participatory modelling
The NextGen4MED Side-Event, “Model-based Policy Exploration Workshop”, will take place as part of the Sustain Tunis 2026 Conference.
This interactive workshop will introduce a participatory system dynamics approach and a web-based modelling platform designed to explore trade-offs between agricultural production and environmental sustainability at the watershed scale.
The session aims to support scenario exploration and policy dialogue, while fostering a deeper understanding of complex social-ecological systems relevant to the Mediterranean region and beyond.
Participation
